10 reasons why we are (truly) sustainable

For us, sustainability is not a fad. It’s a practical, daily choice, made up of big and small gestures rooted in respect. For the mountains, for people, for the future.

That’s why we can proudly say that with us, hospitality is also mindful:

1. The sun is our power source.
   We have chosen to exploit solar energy by installing thermal panels for the production of hot water. Every sunbeam warming our roof becomes clean energy, ready to enhance your comfort.
2. We produce our own electricity.
   Thanks to photovoltaic panels, part of the energy we use every day comes directly from the sun. Fewer emissions, more energy autonomy.
3. We recover heat.
   With our cogeneration system, we efficiently recover heat and energy, reducing waste and lowering our environmental impact.
4. Recycling is second nature to us, not an obligation.
   For us, separate waste collection is a daily habit, a simple but powerful routine. Every item is sorted properly, in harmony with nature’s cycle.
5. We love our surroundings: we support local producers.
   Whenever possible, we choose local and zero-kilometre products. We believe that supporting those who work with care in our valley is part of our sustainability mission.
6. A massage for those who choose the train.
   Traffic in Val di Fassa is a problem, we know. That’s why we encourage our guests to use public transport (which is free here!). How? By giving a free massage to those who reach us without a car. Less smog, more relaxation.
7. Fewer arrivals, longer stays.
   We often ask for a minimum stay: it’s a sustainable choice. It helps reduce traffic in the valley and invites guests to slow down and stay longer, experiencing the mountains at the right pace.
8. Set off from here, without a car.
   We offer guided or independent excursions that start directly from our hotel. No unnecessary travel, just steps, nature and silence.
9. We are plastic free (as much as we can be).
   We minimise the use of single-use plastic. Where we can, we use reusable or compostable materials. Because every choice, even a small one, leaves its mark.
10. The most beautiful energy? The smile of our staff.
    Behind each of our sustainable choices there are people who truly believe in it. Our team is well-trained and fully engaged: everyone who works with us does so with awareness and passion.
